Telling truth to power is what motivates me as a journalist.

I am a senior at American University majoring in journalism and minoring in biology. I expect to graduate in May 2018.

I spent the summer interning with Bloomberg BNA on their corporate and transaction news desk and the spring interning with the Durango Herald as their Washington Correspondent. I am about to enter my senior year of college, where I will be working as a Resident Assistant.

Previously, I have written for College Magazine, Media File and The Eagle. I founded The Bottom Line, and I am a freelance editor for articles that have been published in The Washington Post, NBC News, the Huffington Post and The Hill. I started my career as Editor-in-Chief of the national award-winning publication Scot Scoop News.

Beyond my journalistic endeavors, I have also worked as a Program Associate and Conference Assistant for American University Housing and Dining Programs, a key holder at The Walking Company and a marketing intern at Road Warrior, LLC. I serve as President of the AU chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. I am a member of SOC Ambassadors and ReJEWvenate.
